What is MAH CET?
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH CET) or MHA-MBA/MMS CET, as it is popularly known, is a computer-based state-level management entrance exam, held annually in the state of Maharashtra. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra conducts the exam in various sessions.

Purpose of MAH CET
MAH CET is for admission to the postgraduate management degree programs like MBA (Master of Business Administration), PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma Course in Management), PGDBM (Post Graduate Diploma Course in Business Management) and MMS (Master of Management Studies) in the private (AICTE approved) and public (University of Maharashtra affiliated) business schools in Maharashtra.

MAH CET 2017 Eligibility Criteria
● Candidates require an aggregate of at least 50% marks in bachelor’s degree of at least 3 years in any discipline from any recognized institute. The candidates from the reserved category require minimum 45% aggregate marks.
● Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply for MAH CET

MAH CET Exam Pattern
MAH CET is an online exam that comprises of 200 multiple-choice questions spread over four sections, namely Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reading Comprehension/Verbal Ability. Each question has five options and carries 1 mark, thus making a total of 200 marks. The total time of the exam is 150 minutes.

MAH CET Syllabus
The syllabus for MAH CET as prescribed by the DTE Maharashtra-
Logical Reasoning and Abstract Reasoning: This section includes questions based on verbal reasoning, diagrams, figures, etc. that tests how accurately, rapidly and sharply candidates can think. Topics covered under this section include Verbal Ability; Symbol based Comparison, Linear and Circular Arrangement, Series Completion, Selection Criteria, Sequential Output, Direction, Input/Output, Venn diagrams and Conditional coding.
Quantitative Aptitude: This section includes questions based on the following topics- Ratio & Proportion, Numbers, Quantitative Reasoning, Percentage, Data Sufficiency, Algebra, Geometry, Probability and Data Interpretation (Tables, Graphs and Charts). It tests the numerical accuracy and capability of the candidates, their understanding of the arithmetic problems and their aptness to solve the problems with accuracy and speed.
Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension: This section includes questions on vocabulary, grammar, comprehension of passages, sentence completion, synonyms, sentence arrangement, antonyms, etc., which measures the comprehension ability and English language proficiency of the candidates

Application Process & Fees
Candidates can apply for MAH CET 2017 via DTE Maharashtra official website. Fill up the online registration form that includes personal information, educational qualification and other details. Then, upload the recent passport-size scanned photograph and signature in jpg/jpeg format. Choose the test center for the exam and submit the form. You will receive the registration ID and password.
** Take a print of the filled application form for future reference.
After submission of the online application form, pay the required application fees via online or offline mode.
● Online mode: By this mode, the application fee via internet banking, debit card/credit card, Mobile Wallets/Cash Cards.
● Offline mode: By this mode, the application fee can be paid via e-challan at any branch of Axis Bank in cash.
Fees: The fee for General Category Candidates (Maharashtra state, outside Maharashtra state, K&K Migrants is Rs. 1000. The fee for Reserved Category Candidates (SC, ST, NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), VJ/DT- NT(A), OBC, SBC and & Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) is Rs. 800.

MAH CET 2017 Admit Card
Candidates can download the MAH CET 2017 admit card by logging into your account using Registration ID and Password. Take a print of the card and carry it at the time of the exam.

Selection
The Cut-off score is released by the DTE on the official website. On the basis of the Cut-off, shortlisted candidates will be intimated and called for the counselling round.
