• Introduce yourself – This is a very common question asked in an MBA interview questions. As it is a frequently asked question, you should always be ready to give an answer so while answering this question, be specific and speak clearly. This question is actually asked to study your body language, see your confidence, test your communication skills and check how you behave.
Don’t get nervous while introducing yourself. The introduction you prepare should not be time consuming and should give a gist of your academic and extra-curricular activities. So, prepare a good and brief introduction about yourself and stay confident while answering
• Describe/What are your strengths and weaknesses? – Well, it’s not easy for everyone to answer this question, as it is quite tricky and diplomatic question. Don’t forget to prepare yourself for this question as well, as it is also considered as one of the most frequently asked questions during an MBA interview . Always give a smart and genuine answer; especially at the time of answering your weaknesses. If you think that your are smart enough, then let me clarify you that the interviewer is even smarter than you, so don’t even try to fake your weaknesses and strengths. Try to describe your weakness in a positive way. It would show that you are aware of your weaknesses and are willing to try and change your habits for the better. • Why did you do MBA? The answer to this question will completely depend on you. For example-If you are a fresher then you could answer that MBA can help you get in to the corporate world, Get good salary package, help you stay in touch with the current trends. If you have a prior work experience your answer will differ accordingly.
• Where do you see yourself in the next five/ten years? Be honest while answering this question. Your answer could be related to the course in which you have done your Master’s degree. Suppose, you have done MBA in HR; then you could say that you want to become a successful HR of an organization so that you can handle all the management responsibilities of the particular company.
• Why did you choose that particular college/university for MBA? – This question might be asked to know about your interest in selecting the MBA College of which you are or were a part of. You can impress the interviewers by answering this confidently. You should know the history, programmes, placement services, faculty, etc. of the college/university.
